This game would hold up so well if you could only save
Good ole’ Blaster Master
8-bit games where the shit back then.
I bought this game when it came out. Loved it other than the save issue. It had cool music, too.
That’s a tank, and her name is Sophia.

How many of you had the storybook based off this game?
Be honest: How many of you used the [pause / grenade trick](https://blastermaster.fandom.com/wiki/Pause_Trick) to beat some of the bosses?
Blaster Master Zero is a pretty great remake: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6hPZ_5cSbc](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6hPZ_5cSbc)
10-year-old me would spend hours playing through it. Grownup me has beaten it in 41 minutes. 😁
Blaster Master! It blew my mind as a kid when you could hit Select and get out of the car in order to enter small doors and there was an entire other side to the gameplay
Man, I can hear the Area 1 theme in my head, but all the tracks on that game were amazing. I especially love [this remix](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IU50rUk-gr4&t=0s).
