HR has a not your friend. Company Policy can be broken by the company at anytime. You as a worker can not. Hmmm
A 35 minute rant because someone didn’t read up on how FSAs work before participating in one? No thank you. FSAs are typically available whether you have a high or low deductible insurance plan. This makes them decent for people who know they have a lot of yearly medical expenses and they can use the FSA to cover up to their deductible or for various other things with pre-tax money. Yes you lose unspent money at the end of the year.
HSAs on the other hand only exist for high deductible plans and offer far more options if you want to invest your money or roll it over from your employer provided HSA to somewhere like Fidelity and they don’t expire every year.
Don’t waste your time listening to a 35 minute rant from someone who didn’t read how the plan works, spend 10 minutes instead educating yourself about what makes the most sense for your situation.
This guy made an entire video explaining how dumb he is. FSAs are easy to use correctly.
What? The employer gets to keep your unspent flex care money? I thought it went to the government. 1/3 to 1/2 of people participating are basically giving their employer a chunk of their unspent change. We really need universal healthcare and eliminate the financial games. No more sending idiots to Congress.
Tell me you didn’t go to your annual benefits enrollment meeting without telling me you didn’t go to your benefits enrollment meeting.
