I never ended up getting to play this.
Is gem truly fitting?
loved the game based on the 1st film, the other two were decent, but #1 is where it was at for me 😀
I dunno if a remake could do it justice but yeah this game was epic.
Lol had this game as a child and picked up a few choice words from it. Stood in the middle of the living room while my parents had friends over and shouted, “blow me!” Thinking it meant “shoot a rocket”
It had some of the best cheats I remember too. All games fun but Die Hard 1 was my favourite. Enemies shoot by turning round bending over and firing between their legs. Floating corpses. The noises they made on death haha.
“Happy traaails!”
All 3 of these were god damn amazing.
I remember this fondly, this and the alien trilogy were brilliant.
Ahh good times this and twisted metal 2 were my jam also battle tanks on 64 with 4 players but that’s a different story for a different time
Yeah a top down die hard shooter was amazing. Wasnt a huge fan of the other two.
All three of these games were gold!!!
I had that game, I really loved the part where you drive a taxi in central park
Would you like to quit?
Yes
No
Ask a friend <
I’d actually pay $70 for this if it was truely remade and remastered with working light gun 🤔
This was an awesome game but damn hard like the Italian job 👍🏻
Damn, I loved this game as a kid, even had the namco light gun you could use for the airport chapter.
It’s still sitting on my bookshelf.
Don’t recall ever beating any of the three parts, but definitely spent a lot of time trying.
Welcome to the party pal!
I don’t like to lose!
Just waiting for Jake Peralta to show up.
I remember getting this because I thought it would be like the arcade game lol
When I finally bought a PS1, I had enough for 2 games. I got this and Road Rash 3D. Those were some good times.
My best friend had a demo of this game we used to play one single level over and over for like hours at a time 😅
Never owned the game but I vividly remember playing the demo in the Xmas airport mission, so good!
I was a little kid when I first played it. Was hard as shit for me lol
I remember being awful at this as a kid. I still have it somewhere.
Happy traaaaaaaiils
I had the gun controller I used with this game.. AMAZING TIME IN GAMING HISTORY!!!!
Holy shit I forgot about this
Die trilogy hard
Get the hell outta here!!
I had mega fun with this title.
I really enjoyed this back in the day.
Lead designer and programmer said this to a remake.
“I’d leave it alone,” Simon Pick, lead designer and programmer on Die Hard Trilogy told me over email recently. “Part of its charm is the clunky, glitchy nature of it.”
“It’s a great big confused mess of a million ideas that we shoved together with our fingers crossed,” he continued. “I also wonder if it would be possible to get away with some of the stuff that’s in the game – running over pedestrians and splattering blood on the windscreen no longer seems even slightly amusing to me.”
Was this the same as the arcade game? My local movie theatre had that, and I was obsessed with it. Beat it once.
I spent so much time playing this! Especially the one where you had to use the plug in gun.
Apocalypse for PS1 starring Bruce Willis himself was awesome too!
There ain’t no Al, and it’s not Christmas.
this game was sooo good
motherfucker
I played this so much in high school
Nice move motor-head!
Far Cry 5 has a few player made levels that depict this movie. Literally called Die Hard. They are short, but fun. Id love to get a fleshed out game based on the first 4 movies. Using the same city, and time jump the story and character models, have them take place in different parts while having side quests could be fun.
I loved the cheat code where you can drive around as a baby carriage. Nothing more surreal as driving first person as a stroller, and running pedestrians over with blood splattering all over the screen.
Great game!
“Please, let me drive!”
