when my dad first showed me Pantera as a kid, i heard this guitar solo and was in awe. i never thought id be able to actually play it one day.

The solo is obviously great, but what I enjoy most is that you look like a friendly teacher who has a secret life absolutely shredding in a hair metal band.
I can just picture Dime with a big ol’ toothy grin after slamming a black tooth and shouting out, “Hell, yeah, that’s bad ass, f*ckin eh!!!

Oh damn! That song was my first exposure to Pantera! It was one of the reasons I started playing, but I gave up on lead guitar because I have short fingers and it was painful on my pinky to play lead like I always dreamed. You are rocking the shit out of it though! Awesome shredding!

I grew up listening to pantera and unfortunately never got to see them or their other bands live, but someone recently told me they now have a reputation of being racist/white supremacist. It makes sense w/ all the southern/confederate flag stuff, but I never really thought they were racist based on the home videos or anything.
Is that true, though?
