I only use mine when I need to apply for new jobs.
Mostly it’s the social network equivalent of lying on a CV/resume or placating your current employers.
Linkedin has already overtaken FB apparently. To be honest, I can see why. It does feel kind of nice to just be posting somewhere *generally* positive and *generally* helping you get a leg up somehow.
