I honestly think it was kind of BS that he “redeemed himself” killing someone he hated/wanted to kill/was afraid of anyways. It would be like forgiving Mao for killing millions for example if he killed Hitler.
The youngling force ghosts are actually pretty chill. They got super into Newsies so they like to perform songs and dance around. They aren’t even mad anymore about their own slaughter.
