It’s fine for what it is, but it has none of the manically upbeat tone that I still find so charming about [the ’60s show intro](https://youtu.be/cfawtDT945o). Like the rest of what they’ve shown of this reboot, it just seems like a new Tim Burton thing that happens to have the Addams Family name tagged onto it.
This will look dope as shit on an OLED.
maybe it’s because the Sonnenfeld movies were so damn good and cemented the definitive Addams in my mind but I ain’t feeling it
r/WednesdayNetflixTV for episode discussions when the series drops on 23rd November
Tim Burton + Danny Elfman’s music brings me joy.
Would have been perfect for Halloween, but, oh well.
Just looks like Burton standard middling generic gothic kiddy rubbish
People in this thread are so negative. Well, I thought it looked good. The theme song isn’t Elfman’s best work, but is solid.
After seeing “X” I’m rooting for Jenna Ortega in this one, but the rest of it, including this title sequence, look a bit uninspired.
