Okay, I’ve got to try that.
My favorite things in VR so far are simracing in Assetto Corsa and Automobilista 2, and pinball in VPX (depth perception makes a HUGE difference if you’ve never played pinball before).
What this?

I think it’ll be rad once we can install extremely powerful gyroscopes into the controllers that give force feedback on the swing, physically feeling as if you had a clash.
Ive never had the chance to play a VR game with sword fighting, how does the controllers react to the actual sword clashes?
Vr is the future of gaming.
what game is this. I need it.
This game has been posted 100000 times
I think red is probably more this guys color, that was fucking brutal as hell.
Blade and Sorcery is fun, but I gotta say mine doesn’t look nearly as good just having the quest version that isn’t attached to a PC and isn’t modded. Still a good time though.
I just want to touch the buttons in Microsoft Flight Sim.
Footage is waaay sped up.
My headset is gathering dust. Games are childish, the headset is cumbersome and oddly claustrophobic and it sucks if you’re bespectacled
Looks sped up.
Dayum, how long has VR been like this?! Looks like it’s finally worth buying now (:
Not really these days this game is 4 years old (Blade & Sorcery) and won’t be that smooth for most people. He has a large room and a lot of hours into it. The room matters because he can walk around more instead of using the left controller to move. This makes movement a lot more fluid.
Imagine the days where it’s not just Player vs NPC and becomes Player vs Player, with force throws/chokes/lightning/jumping/etc included
Wow…imagine the motion sickness
I’ve never played a VR game like this, barely any VR at all tbh, but I never have any idea what the player is actually doing and what’s scripted/animation. Like, what is the player doing when they toss the light saber? Or when the grip shifts?
“VR has become absolutely insane these days”
-Proceeds to post a clip from a game that’s nearly 4 years old.
Cries in poor*
I’ve never played vr, what’s it like?
This footage is sped up a lot
If anyone is wondering this is Blade and Sorcery(modded with outer rim). Hands down the best feeling VR game out there with the most realistic combat physics.
This game is the frontier of VR combat and it is only getting better and better with time. Keep killing it WarpFrog!
I may not be the biggest fan of Star Wars, but holy damn, I gotta admit, shit looks awesome and fun.
I would have absolutely thrown up after playing this for 2 minutes
My dream is coming true
Wait, what’s the combat mod? I don’t think I’ve ever seen them fight like this.
Is getting even an Oculus worth it?
Footage sped up, game is a 4 year old game modded.
It’s fun for like 45 minutes, but it has no purpose.
Other than halflife Alex, VR doesn’t have the games to warrant the purchase
Always fun to see these clips but I still see vr as more of a fad than a legitimate system for serious gaming. I think half life alyx was a great step in the right direction and showed what you can do with the system and I’m kinda sad I sold my vr before it was available. Would love to see new, innovative games than remakes for vr like they did with Skyrim and no man’s sky.
I played a KingKong VR ride/game thing at an arcade last week. It was fun – the sense of scale was fantastic but the graphics were still a bit too janky.
Made me think that once processing power gets good enough and the graphics improve it will be incredible. The same KingKong Vr game with graphics from the Weta movies? Would be terrifyingly fun
You have low standards
I’m sorry but you just can’t fucking hype blade and sorcery. It’s so old, so broken, and there is no game. It’s just an arena tech demo. I wish so much that they would make a game out of this, but it’s just so disappointing.
This video is 100% sped up. This game is muuuuuuch slower than this.
Disney… you are missing out on opportunities. Imagine fallen order in vr. Cmon fam give us some thing
This is what I wanted with the wii
It’s not that insane. This is a mod and the lightsabers don’t act how they should. Game has been out for years.
The only problem with VR sword fights is there is no haptic feedback. If you connect with your opponents blade, you can’t feel it. You just swing your arms forward wildly. That tactile sense that is so key to an experience like this is non-existent. All you really get is visual and audio feedback. VR is neat, but has a long way to go.
How the fuck is the AI fighting with this much intuitiveness? Last time I played with the best mods, they were still easily beatable with a couple quick swings. Now they’re detecting the players angle of attack and deflecting it, multiple times in a row.
This is absolutely wild. Even more impressive is the player perfected the hand gesture that tricks the game into flipping the blade upside down – seamlessly switching from overhand to underhand while fighting. This takes a lot of goddamn modding and practice
This is what everyone thought the Kinect star wars game was going to be like.
I will only start using VR when I can eat the corpses of the dead and taste their flesh….otherwise it’s my Xbox and tacos…old school style!!!
All of the people saying ‘its an 4 year old game’ what’s your point? GTA V is an old game but it’s still good. Skyrim is an ancient game but it’s still good with mods.
BnS is pretty fun on it’s own, and can become a hell of a lot more fun with correct mods.
next up: Nervegear!
I’d there was sound you’d be hearing
“I’m your father” constantly
