After buying ps4 after premiere and receiving the worst experience ever (overheating jumbojet engine as a console…) and now being Xbox soldier, im need to addmit. That is awesome 😀
But still f.. Sony 😛
They really paid much effort on designing this controller
What do you mean “has buttons for grip”? Are you referring to the texturing?
wait until OP inspects the grain on the plates of the console lols
they attract hand grime way too fast, though.
im not sure where the hell i got those cause i sure as hell wash to the tune of free bird, but for whatever reason this controller still gets some schmutz on it after a few days of use
it’s also on the inside of the side plates and you may now go check your ps5 to see if it’s true
It’s also on the triggers and the ps5 plates
Welcome to Reddit. How’s your first day? Lol
I believe their official name is “the sacred symbols”
Fuck that’s cool
Wtf mine doesn’t
Mom said it’s my turn to post this
that was revealed like 2.5 years ago.
This is really cool. Why are there a few “2” on there as well?
I like that. That’s a fun little detail.
Anyone else actually hate the texture from this? It feels like the controller is covered in sand.
I see what you mean but you might want to try that sentence again
You should see the machinery used to make these markings, Sony has invested over 6b into controller design alone in the past 2 years. This year they vowed to spend an additional 2b alone on button design and if you believe any of this, I’m honestly quite worried about you, feel free to reach out to someone (not me), and try to get your life together. With all that said, this is a nice controller design and its small touches like this that make Sony great.
This is really cool, what would be cooler is if Starfield and Elder Scrolls 6 came to PS5.
is it even real?
Yeah. Still doesn’t help it to grip when I rage throw it though.
Is it 2020 again? What a weird new year’s eve.
That level of detail is highly commendable but holy fuck for some reason it makes me feel a little creeped out and I can’t explain why
Here’s the daily post about this….
2 years of daily posts about this.
Do you really not know what a button is?
Is it 2 years ago already?
Mine doesn’t have this, smooth as baby’s bottom
All details count
“Press X”
“WHICH ONE?!?!”
my wedding ring has rubbed off all the texture where that particular finger rests on the back
Currently by far the best controller on the market
Welcome to 2021
That level of detail and still the absurdly useless giant touch pad on top takes over a third of the controller.
I work in industrial design, and this must have been a BITCH to create. Probably a beryllium mold, no other material could produced such tiny and refined details. That being said, not only it must’ve been a bitch to make but it must’ve been extremely extremely expensive too. Crazy stuff
As a grain worker, I don’t envy the dude that had to work on that… it’s detailed very nicely!
