Holy shit – I loved the Driver series of games. If memory serves, they got worse as they went on but GODDAMN they were so fun. You felt like an action stunt car getaway driver
ubisoft killed this franchise. i’d like to see another game developer remake the original from the ps1.
This is a really cool mission and it’s such a change up when it happens. Yet to see another game do anything like it.
See how developers trick rear view mirror, its actually a different angle of main view.
One of the best driving games of all time.

For those who want to play this game:
– buy it on Xbox 360 in case (overpriced)
– Find a key on a third party website (you can’t officially buy it anymore but apparently if you get a key you can still activate it)
– crack it on Xbox 360 (cracks on PC are mostly not safe from what I saw and I have the crack on 360 since like 2012 so it should be easy to find)
Anyways, If you never played it, it’s one of the best 360 game ever, also try going in freeroam with friends and play cat and mouse (not real game mod) where the cat can change cars (if you don’t know the mechanics, by pressing a button you exit 1rs person view and you can see the map and when you click a car on the map you end up in first person in that car)
And the mouse run from the cat, when the cat hit the car of the mouse invert roles
The other coop game modes like checkpoint, are also worth trying

many an hour of fun was had on co-op crashing into my friends with cars they didn’t expect me to be in
i saw a youtube vid on this game a while back and saw it in a pawnshop for $3 and had to buy it. fun game for sure

The nostalgia, I remember Driver being such a difficult game.
Yes!! I’ve always remembered this moment. I remember it taking me a bit to realize why my car wasn’t moving until I realized I was controlling the one ahead of me! Such a cool game. Sucks it would probably never be made now.

That game was so good and had such cool ideas in it. Shame it was the last one.
Winning races by driving random traffic head on into opponents and making huge traffic jams was a blast. And really fun driving too.

Imagine Driver X The Crew (the map at least). Tanner taking down some criminals on a country wide scale.
I played this game like 100 times on PC and just bought a Xbox 360 copy for my Xbox one and I replayed it just another time. It’s just the perfect game. I love it
For those who don’t know the story takes place in the mind of a dude in a coma, in his coma dream he can “posses” people in cars so he can swap into an oncoming car, crash into the person you’re racing, and then return to your car for an easy win
