The game is Code Vein. The level is Cathedral of the Sacred Blood.
Code Vein… I’ll never forget it…
I got to this level and I just though “oh I’m back in anor londo”
This is the level where I decided to uninstall and play DS3 again.
just tedious that’s all it was to me.
Looks like 3D print and someone forgot to remove support structures
That looks almost sublime from up here
That’s an awful level completely out of place with the rest of the game. A labyrinth full of dead ends, hidden paths, and hidden levers to open paths to continue through the area, not counting the difficult enemies and everything, looks the same which makes it even harder to navigate.
It took me multiple hours to figure out how to get through the level my first time, and on a second playthrough, it took me an hour, and that was knowing where to go and what to do.
The game is Code Vein for those wondering.
This was the worst level in any game the first time I played this game. The second time I played it, it was a breeze. I 100% the map in maybe an hour or two. It’s easy if you use that maze rule where you hug one wall and follow it all the way through. I just kept turning left any chance I got until I fully mapped out that path and knew it. Then I’d move onto the next. I do the same thing with the Etrian Odyssey series, which is all about mapping out a dungeon yourself. It works so well
I liked code vein but I swear I only got through this area by just following one wall to the end because everything looked the fucking same.
I both love and hate this place.
Crazy how I instantly recognized this level despite never having seen it from this angle.
Looks fun tho.
I must have PTSD since I instantly recognized what this was, even though I’ve never seen this view. On the bright side though persevering with this game taught me how to play the Souls games and after beating this I went and got all the endings in DS3 despite never having gotten past the first boss on a few previous tries.
Now Seikiro on the other hand… 🙁
Yeah nah, it didnt give me PTSD like Blighttown did
Anime Londo.
Probably unpolular opinion, but I enjoyed this level quite a lot. There was something about discovering the new path that kept me going and yes, this is the longest level in the game.
Reminds me of the Yensa Sandsea from FFXII
I liked Code vein and while it had issues it got the music on point, love the organs
This was fun. Idk what you’re on about. Just because it’s a little confusing at first until you understand it doesn’t make it bad. It’s a maze— it’s supposed to confuse you for a bit.
Ehh it was fine.
Man I loved this game
Harsh place but felt rewarding to get through
This was genuinely my favorite part of the game.
Have you heard of blighttown?
How are post allowed with out the putting the game on the title
Ds 1 Blighttown: hold my beer.
Oh god, yes. That place fucking *sucked*.
What really made it stand out is that none of the other levels in the game were even close to that long or that complex.
This looks like an extra fucked “We’ll make sure you die” edition of Anor Londo
Posting in r/gaming without the game’s name should be a punishable crime
Really wish I didn’t have to swim through comments to get the name of the game
Put the game title in the headline challenge
WHAT. GAME. IS. IT???????????

Put it in the fucking title!
