Sam & Max and Strongbad and Wallace & Gromit was peak Telltale games for me.
Their newer stuff like The Walking Dead never hit me the same way and I found them boring.
I’ve been playing TellTale Poker Night 2 on my steam deck. It’s hilarious watching these guys banter during the games.
Sam & Max waz masterpiece even before TellTale (the Lucas game in the 90s was just awesome), its all Steve Purcell merit
Hope someone else will get rights again and produce new stories, cause those two are most probably my favourite adventure characters ever after Guybrush

I just wish there was a better way to play these games on Mac (along with the newer Monkey Island games). Anyone know of a free, simple way?
My favorite is when you ask Bosco on the last mission for the end-all mcguffiths from the previous missions and he’s all like “yeah I got that”.

They were good, but not as good as Sam & Max Hit the Road though
Pretty difficult too.
I played this on my computer as a kid. It was so old they had a hotline to call if you got stuck (no internet walkthrough or anything). I called a couple of times and it was literally a woman on the other end. I told her where I was in the game and she was like “have you tried doing xyz?”
You can restore Roscoe’s original voice on the remasters, too.
