I find it quite hilarious and indirectly mocking influencers on wanting everything on camera despite the dangers lol

This game was pretty fucking weird. I dont really think Ubi had a clear vision of what the game should be.

Theres this bloodthirsty dictatorial regime that uses slaves and mows down protesters with machine gun fire and tanks. Political prisoners being used as test subjects for chemical warfare in actual gas chambers. The army uses to kill civilians just for fun. A small and weak resistance movement is losing every battle against the bad guys and things look pretty bad for the freedom and democracy loving people.

So anyways, one of the pillars of this resistance is a hip hop group composed by a transexual, his strong black female girlfriend and the fat mexican comedic relief that decides that throwing a rap concert at the dictator’s palace is the appropiate course of action because “music is our best weapon against fascism”

Dead Island 2 has a quest chain where an influencer asks you to beat up zombies for likes, it’s pretty funny.

Oh yeah, I remember doing this mission thinking “wtf am I even doing”

And then when >!the white man blew up in front of me!< I was like “wtf just happened?” And then “I’ll take the shoes, tho”

Was it me or was far cry 6 progression broken?

I played for about 10hrs. It got very hard at that point and I couldn’t complete the missions.

I attended a panel at PAX years ago where the devs were showing off the tech of the coming Far Cry 2. Talking to the dev at the end he was bummed out that the audience had been so quiet throughout. I had to explain to him that our jaws had been on the floor as he kept showing all of the things we had dreamed about getting in games up to that point, but never had. Things like time of day changing, weather, evolving, procedurally generated textures, enemy AI that actually seems somewhat human. It was a fantastic demo.

For those playing on PC, I *highly* recommend checking out the Libertad mod, a *ton* of great gameplay tweaks, scripts that restore some of the features from earlier FarCry games such as sleeping to pass time at camp, unlockers that give you all the DLC such as the [Splinter Cell armor](https://i.imgur.com/W180zsY.jpg), performance tweaks, cheats (money/ammo/crafting materials), etc etc etc

it will work with your current savegame (if you aren’t already, you really should be playing on Guerilla difficulty btw, I’m no pro-gamer myself, but the game is pitifully easy once you have a sniper rifle n mods n stuff) I just discovered this yesterday myself.

    Theres something weird with FC6.

Im old and played all farcry. To me the best was FC2 because of the innovative fire spreading, biome, rusting and depressive setting. Yes the Malaria timer was superbly annoying but still was one of the best.

Farcry 3 was superior in alot of aspect but was a downgrade in some way. Instead of spending hard earned diamond to buy the next best weapon you had to climb tower. On the bright side they added verticality and climbing which was great.

Then farcry 5 gave me companion like boomer/boom boom and a more realistic setting, hunting and a good story.

Farcry new dawn gave me stronghold with many difficulty, base managing and special missions for loot.

Farcry 6 is everything i loved, even have a small “Stranger thing” mission and yet i keep dropping it because i lose interest when i didnt with the others. I dont know why, cant put my finger on it

I must definitely be old because I strongly dislike this gimmicky shit but I’m glad it makes people happy and it doesn’t cost me a thing.
