This actually looks really gorgeous
>Movie presentation introducing the world premiere trailer for the upcoming film (no game information will be featured) will be featured at 1:05 p.m. PT on 10/6 for a Nintendo Direct: The Super Mario Bros.
I know this movie is getting mocked alot but I have a decent feeling about it. The poster is great. Can’t wait for Charlie Day as Luigi!
The antiques are pixelated, that’s fun
That’s a great looking poster. The movie is probably going to be gorgeous but I’m still wary about the writing and Chris Pratt as Mario. We’ll see.
Nice of the Princess to invite us over for a picnic, eh Luigi?
The extreme realism on the fabrics reminds me of Super Smash Bros. Brawl
The inclusion of a P Switch as an antique has me sold. Looks like a lot of care is going into this.
Art style and environment looks fantastic, but I’ve gotta admit Mario’s 4k hi def ass is a bit strange
Why is Mario’s ass so flat? I always pictured Mario just towing a goddamn wagon.
That reminds me of the Margaritaville scene from jurrasic world
Honestly I love it!
Even before this poster, I figured from a visual standpoint Illumination was actually the best choice of animation studio for this movie (quality of their films in comparison to the likes of Disney or Dreamworks aside), because their animation style seems closest to the style of the 3D Mario games. This just confirms it. Hyped for Thursday!
Why is he clenching so hard?
I’m supporting this only so I can get a Luigi’s mansion movie.
How we all imagined an open world Mario game years ago.
And just like that I’m back in.
Mario has Hank Hill’s ass.
Is Keegan-Michael Key gonna voice every single Toad we see? Please say yes.
The poster is quite impressive. I hope this is an accurate representation of the movie. I like the nods and throwbacks to the 8-bit and 16-bit eras. The music boxes in the antique shop, the old SMB3 chest on the sign on the right.
I hope it has action and adventure all skipped by Mario running backwards on the stairs to clip to the end of the movie.
Honestly as long as it doesn’t turn to be “fictional character ends up in real world, hijinks follow” plot, I’ll be at least somewhat happy.
That looks nothing like Chris Pratt.
Hopefully they’re just saving Mario’s ass for when he eats a mushroom
Can’t find anyone on here talking about how happy that Toad looks to have a Cheep Cheep in a bag like a little goldfish https://imgur.com/ebZJo17.jpg
