I wonder if the NBA has the same problem as the NHL, the IOC or whatever it is called refuses to cover insurance etc for the players, and the NHL can’t use any Olympic footage etc for advertising.
Did current NBA players go to the last Olympics? I can’t remember.

If LeBron wants it to happen, it will happen. I suspect Curry and Durant would follow suit. But all 3 are fairly old at this point, though they don’t play like it offensively. But anything can happen in a year.
Would be fascinating to see if an US group led by aging legends could be upset and be denied the gold.
