Parry to the Rhythm or you will die more then twice
Agreed. It’s a frickin brutal game, but is gaming art at its finest.Truly an epic adventure.
Well to be honest this is not a boss fight, it’s rather an interactive cutscene 😉 A spectacle nonetheless.
I have been keeping this game on the side for a rainy day for years now because I know how good it will be.
I just could not get into it. I’m not even sure why. I definitely didnt like how i was stuck with one weapon. But i also didnt like how the fights were more about dieing a ton to memorize movesets. I love souls games but i really cant think of any bosses i had to repeatedly die to to memorize frames and timing. Sekiro felt like a slog. I never experienced that whole satisfying moment when you beat the boss. It was just frustrating the whole time. I tried to give it a good try, but after i spent an hour or 2 just to finally beat genichiro at the top of the temple, i stopped. I just wasnt having a good time
Had my first play through just days ago , the game is a masterpiece.
I discovered FromSoft games after ER and Sekiro is tied with ER as my top game ever. The combat system in Sekiro turned me off every other combat mechanisms lol , at least for now. The fights are really cool and some bosses really make you work for it.
I did feel a bit disappointed when I killed Sword Saint in 2 tries but I guess by the time you get there you’re already forced to be good at the game.
Strongly recommend
Mild spoiler tho
I’m amazed you didn’t put “Unpopular opinion: “ before the title. Good on your OP
Last time I saw a Sasha Grey live stream she was playing Sekiro, does anyone know if she finished? From what I’ve seen, she plays many soulslike, but I don’t know if she finishes them
I can say with full confidence sekiro is my all time favorite game for combat. Godamn do I feel like a badass… when I’m playing well.
Dragon’s sword is a lego piece.
