I definitely wouldn’t want my team blowing their cap AND trading away the team’s future to get Lamar. Seems like that’s what it will take though. Hope he finds a spot where he’s happy.

I still think the plan is to convince other teams to set the market price. Once offers are received, Baltimore/Lamar will negotiate on that basis and reach a deal.

As a Baltimorean, all good. Dude’s a great player, no doubt. I just don’t get the sense he’s been a team player. And our city needs team players.
I don’t think the Ravens EVER actually wanted to pay him much. They see his shelf life as basically being like a RB, who you don’t give huge 2nd contract money to.
They probably offered him something like 3 years, $90-$100 million with very little of it guaranteed.
