Kyle Allen is so talented (as I said in my other [comment](https://www.reddit.com/r/movies/comments/xg54ys/-/ioscsws)) he deserves more than quarterback jokes on this sub. This looks to be a role to showcase his comedic chops and I’m all for it. And Kaitlyn Dever is always super fun to watch.
The choice to not do accents actually seems fitting. Plot will most likely be predictable, but bottom line the charisma of this cast would hold it together.
I’m not sure I’ll ever understand the choice to do modern dramas in fake period costume.
JFC, no one fits the time period, no one’s attempting to do an accent, and the humor is godawful. Shakespeare is rolling in his grave.
