The grainy footage and crowd addition are also impressive. Currently my favorite show on HBO

It’s the smart play bringing the shot on the floor over a Chick Hearn call. You got to remember Chick was synonymous with the calls enough to when you went to the forum, people sat in the stands tuned into play by play by Chick while there. It wasn’t a Lakers game without that narration. Man, I miss it.
Really makes you feel like you are there.

I’m about as far as you can get from being a sports fan but this show has had me riveted. Some top notch acting in there. The story of it is all new to me, but there’s always something interesting going on between characters. And the amount of practical stuff here has me super impressed, too!
That is damn impressive and the resulting shot is amazing.
I’ve seen the same thing done in hockey skates. Super mad respect for the skills. Coordinating and rehearsing that is probably far from easy.
