Reeeech Corinthian Leeeethar.
***CORDOBA!!!***
That is badass!
His photo is etched in stone next to the word classy, in the dictionary.
So many of those early-mid 70s two door cars were really nice looking vehicles.
“Corinthian” leather was not a thing. They made it up for the commercial because it sounded cool. And it did sound cool.
Not bad. Make sure to buy extra door pins.
Mid 1970s Chrysler. Better have an upbrella if you are going to drive in the rain with those T-Tops.
Terrible vehicles. Barely lasted 5 years.
My mom had one of those. Worst car she ever bought. The engine was crap.
Rich Corinthian leather, crafted in exotic New Jersey!
“Khhhaaaaaaaaan!!”
The seats are stuffed with eagle down, and the dashboard is made from the beaks of a thousand eagles. Also, there are some eagles under the floorboards.
This is Ceti Alpha V!!!
Yep. We would cruise around with the t-tops off, the windows open, and the A/C on, listening to Fleetwood Mac.
Wtf was Corinthian leather? Was it really from cornith?
I remember the old Volare commercials, and now I’m singing Dean Martin. Omg. 😅
Carnuba and Montan.
“I Like what they’ve done to my car.”
Don’t know why the car looks like a toy in this image
I miss T Tops. All the fun of a convertible, but when you put the tops on, it’s a real hard top.
HE TASKS ME! He tasks me and I SHALL HAVE HIM!

KHAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!
That guy was so smooth he could sell anything. It’s like Billy D with Colt 45
Ricardo was on Johnny Carson years ago, and Carson said “So what exacty IS ‘fine corinthian leather’ anyway??” Ricardo laughs and goes “I dunno, maybe cardboard??”
Gorgeous!
In rich Corinthian leather !!
My uncle owned one. Beautiful car. Broke down every hundred miles. Hated it!
When I was a kid my Uncle bought a new ’76 Cordoba, I thought it was the coolest thing. Mostly because of the coin on the side of the Car, LOL….
Beautiful car
I had a Chrysler Imperial, what a nice car.
How is he supposed to sell a car without flashing some pecs ala Wrath of Khan?
I would still rock one of those today. Instant classic car.
I can hear this picture.
His is the superior intellect!
“It has a new wider track…. Isn’t that interesting?”
Man, I would LOVE to own that car today!
“I’ve done far worse than kill you. I’ve hurt you, and I wish to go on — hurting you.”
Fine Corinthian leather.
I was brought home from the hospital as a baby in a Cordoba! My pops loved that car!

Da car, da car
I heard Corinthian leather was made up by Chrysler to make the interior sound plush and expensive.
