Zaaaaannngggggg
It’s missing Wayne and Garth.
There’s an episode of this that’s supposedly set in present day Dublin (ie early 2000s) where everything is sepia and all the cast are driven around in sputtery vintage cars from the 40s while there are Ford Focuses and Opel Corsas parked behind them. Also a good 95% of the foot traffic seems to be beshawled old women pushing empty prams going back and forth in front of buildings with cell antennas on them. It’s brilliant.
I only ever saw this show once when I was a kid when I stayed home from school because I had the flu. Got me through a tough time and I remember nothing from the episode.
I remember loving this show at the time. I wonder if it holds up.
Wasn’t this originally pitched as a Tomb Raider TV series but couldn’t reach an agreement to secure the rights, so it just became ‘Relic Hunter’?
They filmed an episode of this in the pub I was working at in the early 00s. Me and a few other staff members got high as fuck and hung around to watch the filming, and even got asked to act as extras, although we didn’t make the scene. We did get to eat lunch from their catering truck, though. The weirdest thing was the very next scene after the one in the pub was set in a graveyard that was supposed to be next to the pub, but it wasn’t filmed in the actual graveyard that was literally next to the real pub. I always found that kind of funny. Tia Carrere was very nice and gracious and didn’t seem bothered by my high ass telling her how much I loved her in Wayne’s World.
Lindy Booth was in this. Went on to do something rather similar in *The Librarians*.
I would always see this when flipping channels but never stopped to watch it.
Her and Lara Croft where my strong women heroes.
Loved this show
better than the new National Treasure show, that’s for sure
SCHHHHHHHHAAAAAWING!
I was obsessed with this show as a kid.
I have seen so many tv shows over the years and have rarely encountered something I have never heard of.
What channel in the US did this show air?
I liked the Tia from My Teacher’s Wife
Is this like Warehouse 13?
I remember watching this on City Tv when it was new. It wasn’t bad, wasn’t amazing, but it was entertaining.
That Christien Anholt is going places…trust me
I remember watching this show as a kid.
