Out here convincing a car to not commit suicide because he is depressed and his father treats him like shit….cdpr truly makes the best side quests

So we ain’t gonna talk about Rockstars side quests in GTA V?
Bro, the Altruist mission that had you wandering around the desert for hours???
Come on I know you had fun with that one!
How is Cyberpunk running now?
I just did this mission today. Very funny.
Might have been more interesting if the quest was fleshed out beyond a single dialogue choice. Hardly more than a fetch quest, mechanically.
I did the quest a second time and sadly didn’t get hit by the angry delamain.
BEEP BEEP MOTHERFUCKER.
although I liked the Glados one the most
Tbh I found this mission very annoying and didnt really see any relevance for the game at all. I mean if this was one or two cars to pick up, yeah fine. But 4 or 5 or how many it was? Boring and repetitive as hell.
How much they payed you?
My regret is not having enough INT at the end of the mission to try to alternate ending for that side quest. I felt kinda bad.
On my latest playthrough, I literally ran it off the cliff and it landed perfectly intact on the rocks right below, clipping a bit through them, only for it to disappear and successfully compete the mission.
Indeed. Yesterday I crucified a prisoner on a cross at his request
When I got that quest it lost some of its impact because the car was upside down and couldn’t move anyway.
Anybody else nudge him off the edge of the cliff anyway after Delamain thanks you for saving him and you get the eddies? Or has cyberpsychosis taken me?
I loved the delamain quests, didn’t like the one that tried to murder me though
The one gig where you have to get the BD of the kid being killed and you see the two monsters who make them … that mission was fuken rough but i did get to blow their legs off which was nice .
Is there any new content in the game, i went through it on release and finished majority of the side quests and main quest.
Anything for a free cab service, mate…
Oh just did the same quest yesterday!
First time i tried this mission it glitched out HARD! Made it to the part where you’re supposed to get ambushed and no one was there. The car stopped and then nothing…
Just started playing cyberpunk last night. I’m really impressed by the gameplay and depth so far. On my first mission the bad guys dropped 6 different kinds of pistols and it was possible to collect some clothing items from them. As a casual gamer this thing is gonna take a while to get through.
They update the upgrade/armor system yet?
CDPR has a great side quest, there are a few I can recall on the witcher 3, however if you want GOD OF GODS tier side quest, the yakuza series.
One of the best side quests in all of gaming
Came back to this last night for the first time in a year+ and randomly selected a side quest I already had in backlog- turned out to be River’s nephew and the cow farm. Holy shit what a fucked up story!
Damn flamingos
I just remember the nightmare of trying to trigger something in the beginning and just getting bounced around by the car, hiding behind part of a building and watching him slowly drive right through it.
Simpsons road rage had better driving mechanics than this game
Favourite one is still the sentient vending machine.
If only they would make the actual game on the same level as it’s side quests 🤣
too bad this quest is one of those annoying “Go to every sector and do basically the same thing” sort of quests. I prefer one-point quests that don’t require a lot of travelling around to actually “complete” and get a decent reward.
Also Cyber punk has 1 good quest for every 5 shitty ones. The good ones stand out but that doesn’t make the bad ones any less boring, like the Cyber-psycho gigs…
This was one of the quests applauded most at the time for worldbuilding. Unfortunately, there wasn’t enough of them like this.
Delamains got more in store for u, just wait
Happy cake day 🥳
Isn’t there only like 4 unique side quests? Or did they recently add a ton of shit?
I chose to talk him down and then pushing him over the edge
Find something on a map and make one dialogue choice, repeat until map markers are gone. “best side quests ever omg”
when I was trying this quest I pushed this car into the river, I passed the quest
This was one of my favorite sidequests. When it first came up I ignored it for a while figuring it was just find the cars and drive them back….just a timewasting fetchquest.
Nope.
