In theaters June 16:
>The 1950’s set film takes place in a fictional American desert town during a Junior Stargazer/Space Cadet convention. Chaos ensues as the event, organized to bring together students and parents from across the country for fellowship and scholarly competition, is spectacularly disrupted by world-changing events.
Asteroid City over here.
You could probably count on one hand how many directors could get that cast in one movie.
What a cast that is.
The cast is overflowing. Sometimes I wonder if Wes Anderson does it just because he can.
_-Hello? I’m Mr Anderson agent and I was wondering if you would be Interest.._
_-Yes_
very few directors have that kind of gathering power
That’s the most ridiculous cast I think I’ve ever seen
1950’s American Southwest + Wes Anderson is a dream come true.
Looks like a great cast, I love Wes Anderson films.
Matt Dillon eh, where has that dude been??
I need a trailer, stat!
Poster reminds me of artist Mark Maggiori
I could tell it was a Wes Anderson movie just by reading the cast list.
Wow, who ISN’T in this movie?
Pedro Pascal must have really pissed off Wes Anderson.
Schwartzman with top billing!
Very excited to see him lead another Wes Anderson movie, they work so well together and he hasn’t had a major role in one of his films in 15 years.
No Owen Wilson?
Wow.
That’s the craziest cast I’ve ever seen
>Adrien BRODY
does anyone know why he’s always in Anderson’s films? it’s not hate, i’m just curious lol
nice to see a painted poster again
I love reading the cast lists on Wes’ posters and just having my eyes continually widen.
Always happy to see Matt Dillon!
Anyone else feel like Anderson’s films post-Grand Budapest come across as someone trying to mimic his visual style but missing out on what made his early material special in terms of characters/script/writing?
Literally the first sentence of [Schwartzman’s wikipedia page](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jason_Schwartzman):
>Schwartzman made his film debut in Wes Anderson’s 1998 film Rushmore, and has gone on to appear in six other Anderson films.
Some of the rest of the cast here are Anderson’s regulars: Brody, Dafoe, Norton, there might be more.
I’m surprised Bill Murray isn’t here. Maybe he has a scheduling conflict.
Sweet lord, that’s the Avengers of quirky colorful movies.
Where’s
Owen
Wilson
That certainly is a cast of people
Fallout: New Vegas vibes
First time I’m seeing Tom Hanks listed as #3 in a cast list in the last 2.5 decades.
everyone comment on the cast and im just like : is it animated or is it live action?
also the only other movie of Wes I haven’t seen is French Dispatch, heard it have mixed reviews, or is it?
Has he apologized for [this](https://m.imdb.com/list/ls090808434/) yet?
