Saw the trailer before Avatar. It was laughable. Like not humorous at all but more like terrible acting and dialogue for every clip. I could feel the cringe from everyone in the theater when it was over and went silent. Who is seeing this trash?
I really hope this film is a success because the first one was so great and I’d like to see that rewarded. Also, it would be nice to see it succeed as revenge for Zachary Levi getting big leagued by Dwayne while Black Adam was a dismal failure.
DC just can’t get it right.

I see a winder woman 1984 in the making. Shazam wasn’t even as good as the first WW, but it could have beenawful… and the sequel only carried over the bad parts

The fact that everyone is saying Shazam was a good movie shows how low the bar is for the DCEU. Shazam was 5/10 at best. I can all but guarantee that this new one will be terrible.
Why are our heros and villains so goddamn old? Im in my 30s and these people feel like dinosaurs. I can’t imagine a teen caring about the danger of Helen Mirren.
As a lifelong Shazam fan I cannot wait to watch this train wreck. Re-imagining The DC version of Spiderman into Tom Hanks “Big,” kills the comic lover in me.
