I love all the times Bob Ross would go on about how amazing Steve is at painting mountains, he always was so proud and generous with his compliments, it was beautiful to watch.

I always thought it was sweet when Bob would brag about how amazing Steve’s mountains were. He said on a number of occasions that Steve’s mountains were far better than his own.

In a world of men desperately clawing to the “top” while displaying insecurities, I hold Bob and Fred as some of the kindest and strongest men I’ve been lucky to witness. What courage it takes to calmly and beautifully share yourself in a world that thinks shouting the loudest is appealing. I just wanted to send my thanks out to these men, others like them, and my own late father that showed how quiet leadership and simply being kind can impact the people who are blessed to have tuned in or just to have been in proximity of them.
Steve – I saw the documentary about your Dad on Netflix and he was definitely done dirty in life. Such a kind and gentle soul, taken advantage of. Nevertheless, I really like your style too. Keep it up! You’re doing the Ross name proud!
