I was given this really fun idea recently, painted the piece and thought it was worth sharing.
A few things about the painting
In the background a paper boat that the people of the time used to sail, to the right, one of the extinct birds that existed in the style of a paper crane.
The three figures on the bench each have something that are associated with destroying paper. A cigarette & match, a pair of scissors and the middle is kicking over a cup of liquid. They’re looking forward towards at an unknown figure behind a stanchion. It appears that they may be being watched/approached by the figure. A few faces are seen in the background watching on from the shadows.
So much imagination and style in the painting, and the description is amazing! Love all of it! 🙂
Quite clever. That is a great imagination and a great effort.
Love it!
