the oversized altar of cheese
The people in those houses either A) eat a fuck ton of Toblerone or B) roll their eyes hard even at the mention. Nothing in between.
“Men have tried and men have died to climb the Matterhorn.”
Ah yes a natural wonder
disneyland’s changed since the last time i went
Zermatt? so beautiful
Question about the house in the foreground. Are those pipes intended to keep snow from sliding off the roof and/or slip protection of anyone working on the roof?
I would love to go there in my lifetime
In Zermatt a few weeks ago, in one of the closest hotels to the Matterhorn on the far side of town. Got up at 0530 just to see the sun hit the mountain.
Once again, Lorenzo Von Matterhorn…
Gold
Looks like the Grinch is about to slide down that mf and bring Christmas joy to the townspeople
Looks like a Smithing Stone to me
Truly thinking about moving out of the U.S. Thought crossed my mind during the 45th presidential election then again after the 46th. I kept working my ass off along with my mom who moved in with my hubby and I. Covid hit us hard. My dad died. My brother is in the Navy, he had a son in 2021. We cared for my SIL while he was serving. With everything in the last 6 years and now, I see no hope after Roe v. Wade being overturned. Now they are going for contraception and gay rights?! The country is beyond devided and people are dying every day due to things that can be easily changed 💔
I want to live somewhere I can be a part of a real community, contribute, have privacy, health care. Not be afraid of wtf my government will do next.
Lorenzo!
That hill is looking a little, ohh “anxious” if you know what I mean.
Civ fact: that village enjoys a cool +1 culture and +2 appeal
Smithing stone.
But does it have a basketball court inside it?
Zermatt is such a magical place. I want to retire there and just drive people around in those little electric vehicles they have.
Great, now I’m craving Toblerone
Is this mountain based off the Disneyland ride?
I’ve been on that ride.
this looks so fake (like cartoonish) and I don’t even know why
Been to beautiful Zermatt and have seen that view for real.
Where is this taken? Trying to find affordable hotels with excellent matterhorn views for my upcoming trip to Zermatt
