I’m so conflicted on this movie.
On one hand, the events and themes are totally exciting. It looks like there’s going to be a lot off cool effects and original ideas.
But I’m skeptical due to the quirky, comedic feel of the trailers. It doesn’t feel authentic in a horror/suspense movie to me. I’m not a big fan of ironic humor presented as a sort of plot device. The trailers make me feel like they are trying too hard to be quirky. It makes me lose my suspension of disbelief.
