I wouldn’t even waste the bandwidth to download that dumb thing
So…. no HD-3D that the original was touting, pushing, and sold as new tech?
The story is offensive in today’s times.
White saviour narrative
For a moment I was really confused why there was a bike doing a cool flip above them
I predict it will flop big time.
Good opportunity to change the font
How many times are they gonna re release this movie.
I have no interest in Avatar without 3D. That was the thing that made the first one a hit, the first time.
I have to ask: are there people who are genuinely interested in seeing the new Avatar movies or will it be one of the most massive flops in Hollywood history? Am I just missing some cultural demand for however many movies that are supposed to come out?
People care about Blue People Fern Gully in 2022?
No thanks…lol pulling it from Disney to try to suck more money out of it
Ok here’s a great place to ask this. I’m going to the 3D version since I missed it the first time around. Are the glasses they are going to give me good enough or is there some other ones I can get for a better experience?
Cheers!
I’m excited. My local theater’s Dolby Cinema is excellent. Plus I haven’t seen this in a while so it’ll be a good refresher.
Will wait for it to come out on Disney plus
Am I the only one who wants to watch the sequels of this be the biggest bust in Hollywood history?
Oof
*zero cultural impact from first movie*
Disney: “Fine, we’ll do it ourselves…”
The 3D in the first one was very well done. I won’t be able to see the new ones in 3D as there are barely any 3D theatres around here anymore.
BETTER. BIGGER. BLUER.
Is it in 3d?
I would’ve seen it in theatre’s like 10 years ago but now I just don’t care.
I’ll watch it when I can watch it on my couch.
Couldn’t see it in theatres as a kid hopefully it’s still in 3d 😩
Did movie theaters always re-release relatively new movies? Spider-Man no way home is coming back to theaters too
People in the comments unironically betting against James Cameron. Completely stupid. If the sequel made even half of the original it would still be at 1 billion
So, im kinda just sayn here….how many times is this movie going to be released?
The extended or theatrical or both?
Not wild about this poster tbh
Yes I recognize the plot is predictable and a rehash of Dances With Wolves/Fernugully. It’s still a highly entertaining and visually stunning movie. I can’t wait to see the re-release in Imax again. This and Top Gun are probably the only 2 non-superhero movies this year to really utilize the big screen format.
Fingers crossed
They’re re-releasing the 1st and the 4ths in production but neither the 2nd or 3rd have come out, right? Did I miss something
This thread is pretty crazy- split between commentors that absolutely love this film and those that just don’t get it. It’s funny to watch any critique be responded with “Were you even alive when the movie was in theaters?!”
I saw it in theaters and thought it was super lame. Without the 3D and IMAX I don’t think the film had much substance at all. But to each their own.
Tbf now I’m older is love to take shrooms and go see this in imax
Jake Sooly remastered.
I swear people have made hating on this movie their personality. It’s pathetic.
It took like 30 years for the first one and 11 years ish for the second. None of us will be alive to see this series resolve 🙁
If I see this in the theatres I’m going to be listening to the Rifftrax on my phone.
Finally.
I actually never saw it in theaters.
I just picked up tickets to an IMAX 3d showing.
I’ve heard it’s the best use of the technology yet, so I’m kind of excited to see this.
