It’s Day’s directorial debut:
>A satirical comedy about a down-on-his-luck publicist (Jeong) who discovers a recently released mental health patient (Day) who looks just like a misbehaving movie star. The publicist subs him into a film, creating a new star. But fame and fortune are not all they are cracked up to be.
It’s out May 12
Great cast, nice to still seeing Liotta
Oh shit! Common is in this?!
Looks interesting and entertaining. Not always easy to find those these days. High hopes from me.
Latte Pronto is the greatest character name in decades.
We need more posters like this
That’s a solid cast!
what a cast, first i’ve heard of this so i’ll keep an eye out for it
Back with Bateman and Sudeikis, no less
Low key thought Jason Sudeikis was Damien Lewis
Enjoyed the trailer for this and hoping it gets a UK release date, can only seem to find US release dates right now
Ray Liotta?!?
Was that Glenn in the beard?!
That trailer..oof. Haven’t seen something like that since Ishtar
Really excited for this. As someone else said it’s 5 years in the making with a rework halfway through which I guess is worrisome but I’m also very happy he didn’t release a movie he wasn’t satisfied with. Little details that crop up with continuity and stuff like that absolutely disappear to me if everything is simply good and fun enough, something he noted on the most recent It’s Always Sunny podcast that I totally agree with.
He’s also learned a lot from and speaks almost reverentially of Guillermo del Toro, whom Charlie said is one of the main reasons he decided not to scrap the project when it wasn’t quite coming together. That’s a good sign to me!
Still a floating head poster but a much better variation love the art style.
Strong vibes of *The Janitor Always Mops Twice*.
If it’s anything like that episode or *Charlie Work* from IASIP, it’s bound to be well-worth watching.
So excited to see this!!!
Been There
Oh shit John malcovich!
Been spending most our lives
Living in a foolish paradise
I haven’t an inkling of a clue what this is about but the cast list alone has me intrigued.
Is Brody the one w long hair and the hat on the bottom right of the poster?
I really hope it’s good as I love Charlie and I’m rooting for him. But honestly the trailer didn’t look great. I dunno if I’m the only one who felt that way.
WHY did he have to put Common in this movie?
From the looks of the trailer, it definitely is going to suck and you’re all in denial
Kind of feels like a modern day “Being There”
Rum ham!!!
What is their spaghetti policy?
Now those are floating heads I can get behind
70s paperback covers are so back. Yesss
I’ve never seen Bateman depicted with so much character.
Wes Anderson vibes

“Flowers of Charlie part 2”
From the trailer this looks like it’ll either be really charming and funny, or self indulgent and predictable. I really hope it’s the latter and am rooting for Day to smash it with his directorial debut.
The trailer makes this movie look like a hot mess. I hope not, but it doesn’t look good or interesting. Sad cause I really like Charlie Day.
I thought cocaine bear for Liottas absolute last movie
Ray Liotta ??!
