This is a brand I ran into in the Caribbean, supposedly based off of an escaped slave turned pirate who frequented those waters. When I was there I got a bottle of hot sauce in this same brand, Big Black Dick.
I brought this bottle back to the states and brought it to work (I was a 19 yo lifeguard at the time) to let everyone try a taste, both to say they tried something with that name and because it was legitimately good. Everyone took a small drop to the finger tip then licked their finger to try it. Everyone liked it.
The next break we hear screaming from the changing room – I run over and ask what’s happening, but I can’t see anything because the door is closed. From the other side of the door I hear my coworker cry out “I GOT BIG BLACK DICK IN MY EYE!!!” lol. Turns out she was changing her contacts but had forgotten about the hot sauce residue on her finger tip. That was a good summer.
