Their hair was perfect!
Ron Swanson: The Lost Years on the right.
Left to right: Keys, Bass, Vocals, Guitar, Drums
I got a Fever and the only prescription is More Cowbell!
Which one is your dad? Pretty cool
#4 is the bad boy. He’s not gonna grow a mustache and you can’t make him.
Is that a young Jack Black on the right?
The longer you look, the better it gets
This photo smells like cigarettes and Brut in the best way.
I got a fever and it needs more …
Someone get these guys a prescription…
…for more cowbell.
Looks like Alabama.
Please tell me your dad is #1 on the right
When movember was all year long
Rockin’ the sansabelt! And they’re sorted by hair type.
And is the guy in the center Richard Carr as in the logo at bottom right?
And which one is your dad? What did he play?
Jesus Christ, if my mom had seen your dad I’d be your brother.
Is that Fez from That 70s Show second from the right?
If it’s a Richard Carr Production you know it’s going to be 🔥
That guy pulls wool and I do mean wool
Dude on the right inspired William Murderface from Metalocolypse and no one will convince with otherwise.
It looks like a band where every member is Jim Hopper.
Is there anywhere we can listen to them?.
The fever was from all the STDs
Who was on the cowbell?
Somehow they look exactly like Alabama, and Dethklok dressed as Alabama

The man on the left makes me think of Marshall in a flashback.
Goddamn, even the production company has a porn ‘stache
Somehow AJ McLean was in this band?
For the young folks here, this is the precise look of the 70s turning into the 80s.
Bro dude on the right looks like Murderface
I love how *aggressively* ’70s everything about this poster is.

Little guy second from the right has an attitude.
I got a Miller High Life hang-over just looking at this photo.
Four of these are the same man, change my mind.
We lost Ricky Carr 2 years ago. Great guy. He booked 3 bands I was in back in the 80s. I’m pretty sure your dad and I have several mutual friends. I bet he has fond memories of those days, when the clubs were packed 6 days a week. The drinking age was 18 and cover bands were everywhere.
Edit: He died Feb 2022.
I got a fever and the only cure is more cowbell!
Oh my god, Fever played my prom! 1979, South Attleboro High School! I remember it was a beautiful night and it had rained and the grass and air were dewy, and my date drank too much BEFORE the dance and got sick during a slowdance, and I think there was a fight but I missed it. Anyway, they were great, just the right mix of soft rock ballads and dance numbers. And then six weeks later we realized that every single girl who was there that night was pregnant.
Okay children, let me lay it out for you. OP’s Dad is Richard Carr, the producer and horn playing frontman. Then starting from the far left, Mike-drums, AJ- keys (anything to try and make it look like they are not a piano player, Mr Carr- horns, Angelo -bass and finally Angelo’s brother Carmine playing a Fender Jag. Their version of “Play that Funky Music White Boy” was what brought them to the dance floor at the Elmira Holiday Inns Cold Storage Lounge.
Can’t figure out what the hell is the fourth guy wearing.
OP, can you tell who is your dad, or are you not telling for privacy reasons?
Local band opening for the Doobie Bros.
You may remember them from their hits like “Shag van nights”, “Suzie’s coochy”.
