What is going on with that clown horn ruining the song? At first I thought someone was beat boxing…
I bought the box set on Blu-ray so I’m rewatching it now.
Ohhhh Sonny Crockett lust!!
Fun fact. The Ferraris Daytona Spyders used in the series were modified Corvettes.
As much as I love Miami Vice I’ll take the Testarossa episodes over the Daytona ones.
My favorite episode is “Out where the busses don’t run” in season 2. It is where they use Dire Straights “Brothers in Arms”. Just Chilling.
The best
The pilot episode was great. My favorite episode is Evan, the music by Peter Gabriel was absolutely perfect. Still watch these shows pretty regularly!!
Tubbs got a little lost in Crockett’s beauty for a moment there.
I loved the GTA: Vice City mission with Phil Collins…until right now, I didn’t know that it was in a Miami Vice episode with the song in it.
(Because I didn’t watch that cheesy show.)
Def of cool at the time
Many great song in the show
The original Ferrari was a kit car. Ferrari agreed to give them the real thing if they destroyed the kit car.
Loved this show, watched it every chance I got.
Is this the episode with Willie Nelson?
Am I the only one curious about the reflection of some person in the beginning and the quiet whisper of ânoâ at around 0:10?
Iconic scene. Watched it when I was a kid and still haunts me.
Iâm no filmmaker but that is a beautiful sequence of shots to my eyes
Fitment on point đ
Don’s Johnson
The working title for the show was literally MTV Cops. The mtv execs were very proud of that and we put it in the sales tape we made for the 10 year anniversary of mtv.
Been thinking of bingeing this show.
Came out the year i was born and by the time i would of been into this kinda thing it no longer aired in australia as far as I know. Kind of forgot about it till I saw a compilation vid of all the cameos in the show and I was blown away. Never seen more than a 1-2 min clip of the show. Is it worth the binge?
Miami Street Blues
Ah.. I remember that episode and that Phil Collins song⌠excellent. What was the back story of that episode?
Ugh, MV! Magnum P.I. was where it was at! I had such a crush on Tom Selleck, in those tight pants. Whew.
I love the video with Crocketts Theme. Jan Hammer and the MIami vice theme and soundtrack was the jam in the 80s. Sooo good.
So good. This show was ahead of its time.
Michael Mann
Great scene, there is a longer in better quality on YT.
