
I recently found Martin Scorsese’s “The Big Shave” on HBO Max, and realized I never knew he made short films before his major projects. Does anyone know what inspired the short or have any backstory to it?
It was definitely unique and surreal. The contrast of colors and lighting to the man work very well. You can see early influences for his later works to come.
