Did this woman ever take a bad photograph? I’ve seen well over a thousand pictures of her….just stunning in every one. That includes when she got heavier and was drinking/popping pills near the end. She looked sad in those but was still beautiful.

My 91 year old father has a picture of Marilyn Monroe in fatigues standing in a Jeep from when he was in the Korean War and was on RR in Japan at the time. She was entertaining the troops. He went on to become a professional photographer. I should post the photo here. It is a great shot!

I think it’s eerie foreboding that she’s in an open convertible holding a picture of a beloved president killed by a bullet and then her real time beloved president got killed by a bullet in an open convertible and she wasn’t alive to hold him or his picture anymore.
