We don’t deserve Louis Theroux
Another great interview with someone I’ve never heard of but now want to check them out.
Thanks, havent watched the channel for a while. That was a good (spicy) one 😉
I started watching Louis’ documentaries when I was maybe.. 14? And since I wasn’t British, I’d try and find them on google videos or dailymotion, or wherever the fuck I could. I’m almost 37 now and I can’t even begin to describe how much of my worldview was influenced by him. It’s very comforting to see him aging this gracefully and to have him with us still, unlike, say, Anthony Bourdain, another idol of mine. He’s still here and he’s still nice. And that alone makes me very happy. Hope y’all check his work out. And while you’re at it, check out the work of Adam Buxton, a great comic and interviewer in his own right, and a classmate of Louis’.
Wow, he took all of them on like a champ. I expected a bigger reaction from Da Bomb, but he just demolished it.
Anyone else find the background music really distracting in these?
2 tables
This may be my favorite one. I didn’t really know Louis Theroux before but am now a fan.
Wonderful interview – what a thoughtful and introspective man.
“That’s the show” cracked me up.
Is Sean Evans the best celebrity interviewer in the business right now?
I am beginning to feel…. Omnipotent.
Louis is a fucking goat
He’s long time friends with Adam Buxton and Joe Cornish and if you haven’t seen them [dancing in Adams bedroom](https://youtu.be/taUqt_E0aOs?si=qBnP040bqhWt_qdI) it’s worth watching lol
A meeting of goats!
Two of the greatest interviewers alive sitting down opposite each other. We were amused that Louis had clearly never seen Sean’s show before (vis-a-vis being surprised by Sean’s usual interview preparedness and, of course, not knowing about “Da Bomb”). Just wonderful.
This was a great episode
Love Louis.
If anybody is unfamiliar, he is a masterful documentarian. He is a slender wallflower and gets his subjects to open up about EVERYTHING. He lets them spill their secrets and say things they meant to hide.
And when the subject is comfortable, he turns into an absolute viper.
He is also fearless and tackles topics that we normally we shy away from.
We need more actors from Europe on this show.
Place | Actor
— | —
Brit | Colin Firth
Irish | Brendan Gleeson
Scottish | should’ve had Robbie Coltrane.
Welsh | taron egerton or anthony hopkins. damn, imagine if they did a movie together.
anybody else have ideas? need more women, too
What accent is that? He sounds like not American and not quite British.
