Even the footage of the footage is beautiful, oh lord.
imagine dropping that camera
Can someone explain what happens after they shoot, is all the sound we hear in the finished picture all done off set in a studio
Great result horrible tech. That new camera can’t come soon enough. I think they have 3 or 4 on the way. Supposedly by years end.
I thought IMAX had gone digital.
How did something that loud ever film a nature show I use to watch in a museum.
This is crazy! I had no idea the camera made that much noise. I know actors are amazing but that’s got to be distracting.
Was the whole movie filmed with IMAX cameras or just certain scenes? And if it was all IMAX, did the actors have to ADR every line of dialogue?
I have so much more respect for these actors know holy shit. Imagine trying to immerse yourself in this scene and that fucking sound is beside you. Bad enough there is a camera and a bunch of people but now there’s a jack hammer in your ear? LMAO
That camera sounds like it runs on diesel.
What a Movie
That is loud, but ALL film cameras are loud. And when these were developed nobody thought they were going to shoot dialogue with them 🙂
I remember wrangling a blimp or two for interior dialogue scenes over various Pannys and Arris.
Just watched this yesterday, really good
