Funny thing is the fifa games do actually get an update every single year. You just have to pay 60 or 70$ and maybe buy a new console.
It’s just the same as any old FIFA game.
After 28 iterations, many hundred updates and thousands of patches come on it should be great but still COM player acts wierd
Defensive AI is still atrocious, every year one specific kind of attack is overpowered, goalie AI is all over the place, physics look hilarious most of the time, career modes are worse and with less features than 10 years ago… great game

PES 2019 is the best football game to-date gameplay wise. It’s actually infuriating Konami have royally fucked up as FIFA/EA’s deal is up. Slap on fully licensed leagues on PES 2019, touch-up the presentation, and it blows EA out of the water.
they *could* make a game that people want to play, or they *could* just make a new fifa every year and use the social pressure of Brazilian children to make a million bucks. all that matters is money

If so that actually speaks volumes of the sad state of football games. Saying something is “the best” is only praise when there’s tons of good competition. Otherwise you’ll be the best turd in a pile of shit, and that’s not particularly impressive.
