FYI a first choice implies it’s not the ones who got the gig
FYI, Jonathan Demme was wrong.
Man, Sean Connery was the king of passing on parts in the 90s!
Passed on The Architect in The Matrix sequels, passed on Gandalf, passed on Dumbeldore, passed on Hammond form Jurassic Park, and now it turns out he passed on Hannibal Lecter!
Wasn’t Michelle Pfeiffer the first choice ofr Clarice? She passed on lots of good roles back then.
What a cool dude. Love his humility and vibe.
