It should star Melissa Villasenor doing her John Mulaney impression.
I love Documentary Now.
I worried about Armison and Hader stepping back but last season was a corker. Start to finish. Bangers.
The musical episode was amazing (Richard Kind’s patter? Mulaney giving himself those catty one liners?), and the bowling episode? Chef’s kiss.
Also: props to Mulaney for getting Helen Mirren to say R.C Baumgartner in two different episodes. It slays me. That joke lands and then it takes a victory lap both times.
Headline is a little misleading – “Burden of Dreams” was directed by Les Blank.
As one does
So…. now they are making a documentary about the making of a documentary about the making of a film about a crazy Irishman hauling a boat up a mountain?
Looks like he’s aged for the first time in twenty years.
Wow, correct use of case for a gerund!
Please cast Paul F. Tompkins.
