Intro to Monday Night Football from September 1995. The Michaels, Gifford, Dierdorf era. My favorite in my opinion.

That seems both redundant and repetitive
You remember that season when Terrell Owens and that actress from Desperate Housewives dropped that towel in the locker room and the WHOLE freaking world went crazy over it?! Man have times changed.
I probably watched that in real time with my dad when I was 15
Oh damn. Reggie
Hank Jr. intro was the best!
I remember this game if only for the Ripken shout out. Baltimore guy here. My moms was at the 2131/2132 game. CFL Baltimore Stallions were whipping that league and won the Grey Cup that year. Then in ’96 the Ravens arrived.
*We got Frank, and Al, and Dan!*
The intro before the song is pretty good. Need to bring those back where every game felt like an event. Somewhere there’s a list of best NBA on NBC commercials, a very enjoyable countdown.
As a kid, I looked forward to the slight tweak of the lyrics based on the teams playing- especially if there were any half rhymes to make it work.
For me, MNF will always be synonymous with Howard Cosell
When they started using someone else besides Hank Jr. it really took a lot out of the buildup to the game.
