>Imaginary – In theaters on March 8th. Starring DeWanda Wise, Tom Payne, Taegan Burns, Pyper Braun, with Veronica Falcon, and Betty Buckley.
>From Blumhouse, the genre-defining masterminds behind FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S and M3GAN, comes an original horror that taps into the innocence of imaginary friends – and begs the question: Are they really figments of childhood imagination or is something more terrifying lying just beneath?
>When Jessica (DeWanda Wise) moves back into her childhood home with her family, her youngest stepdaughter Alice (Pyper Braun) develops an eerie attachment to a stuffed bear named Chauncey she finds in the basement. Alice starts playing games with Chauncey that begin playful and become increasingly sinister.
>As Alice’s behavior becomes more and more concerning, Jessica intervenes only to realize Chauncey is much more than the stuffed toy bear she believed him to be.
>Lionsgate and Blumhouse present, a Tower of Babble production.
Looks shite
From the producer of Meghan and 5NAF. Well shit. This won’t be good.
Great concept, but the absolute worst director they could have picked.
The trailer kept swinging from interesting to lazy as hell.
So an evil teddy bear movie?
The premise is amazing, but why’d they pick HIM to direct 😭😭
Written and directed by Jeff Wadlow. First and only sign for me to know to stay away.
Never thought I’d hear this song being used for a horror movie. Lol
Seems like a modern version of Don’t Look Under the Bed.
Ah the old “we need an exposition dump to explain wtf is going on, let’s have the main character go talk to an ‘expert’ about it” trope
Imaginationland!
Drop Dead Fred did it better.
That bear was was in the Amazon with my mom when she was researching spiders right before she died!
I no shit stopped watching the preview when it came up that it was the same director as fnaf and Megan.
