They want to, like they did for *Command & Conquer* and *Red Alert*, but they had the source code and original art assets for those two games. I believe they have not been able to locate all of the material for *Tiberian Sun* and *Red Alert 2*, which would be a logical second *Command & Conquer Remastered* package.
Without those assets and code, they’d have to rebuild the games from scratch, which is much more expensive and time-consuming, so it’s not going to happen. They need to track down the missing material (for the original remaster, I think someone found a whole stash of assets on ancient zip disks in the EA archives, which is the only thing that made it possible).

Everyone that wants an expansion/remaster should try Mental Omega. Absolutely insane mod that adds more stuff than the base game and actually makes the AI tough.
One of my favorites. I even bought it on origin. I just never play.

I like the one where you could play middle eastern terrorists. You had tunnels, angry mobs with rifles, poison, suicide bombers. It was hilarious

I also want them to bring back Renegade and make a Red Alert or Tiberian Sun style renegade game

Remastered and you can play with friends online damn I though EA loves Money this would make them a LOOOT of money LOL Together with CnC Generals Zero Hour.
