I’d rather just get a new game
I’m tired of remakes
Isn’t there a new game? 🙁

With Microsoft acquiring ActiBlizz, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the first thing that they get Toys for Bob working on
No I’ll echo the sentiment of others here, extremely tired of remakes.
And it’s not just a video game thing. I’m tired of it with movie reboots, overall any franchise reboots or remakes really, tired of classic music albums being remastered and diluted.
It’s not a great trend, it’s purely to get something else to sell with a lesser investment of time, money and creativity.
I wasn’t born when the first Alien movie came out, but I’m happy I got to see it as it was then, with the esthetics of the time, the special effects of the time. I don’t ever want to have a reboot of it, I don’t wanna see it with better sfx. It’s one of my favorite movies ever, I envy my parents who got to see it at the theatre, same with the OG Star Wars. I love these, I like watching the original editions on VHS.
Video games to me are the same, I was not born when the first Mario game came out, but I prefer to play it on an old CRT TV, I love its age and its quirks, I would not buy a remake of it.
I love old polygonal graphics from the 64/PS1 too.
They can make a new Banjo game and I’ll buy it. But I have 0 interest in a remake of the 64 games. I love them, I still play them, I don’t need a modernized version of them it’s a useless product for me and it’s driving me nuts that they keep making so many of these.
