I’m sitting here literally crying right now, but not for the reasons you think.
You have solved a mystery from when my (late) husband was gravely ill and in the ICU.
He spent 45 minutes trying convince me, the nurses, the doctors and anyone who would listen that there were “teeth” in his room and they would NOT go away. I knew my husband wasn’t crazy, but he was having some issues with his mind not working fully again yet and we assumed he was still hallucinating from a bad reaction to some meds the night before.
Now, nearly three years later, I think I know exactly what he was seeing and that he most likely wasn’t hallucinating, but seeing this image and not able to fully explain what he meant due to his illness.
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU.
*Edit – This HAS to be what he was seeing. I checked my journal from then and his description was “Teeth with eyes and they’re wearing a hat.”
