Nolan avoids using CG where possible and prefers to use it to enhance real shots rather than creating shots completely with it. He makes no claim that he doesn’t use CG and finds it a ‘very versatile tool’.
Honestly kinda wish it had more lol. The trinity test scene was super underwhelming in my opinion. And I saw it in IMAX too.
the question is; can we believe Nolan is truly dedicated to his craft if he wasn’t able to procure or produce an atomic weapon for use in this film? Disappointing.
