I remember my 9 year old self getting this game for my birthday and falling in Love with it. Played it like 30 times. Before videogames where something nice, but nothing too special for me. OoT just changed my view completely
And gaming was never the same again!!!
Now, nintendo, *ahem*, get off your arses and release the 3DS Remaster on switch. I’ll give you money, snd I’d bet I wouldn’t be the only one.

I know OoT has seen a couple of remasters but I feel like this would have been the perfect time to release a remaster that didn’t just update the graphics and controls, but re-added the lost content that was stripped out of the original game due to size constraints.
They were limited by the technology of their time. Off the top of my head there was originally a playable Temple of Light dungeon, and you’d also see Zora’s Domain thawed after finishing the Water Temple. That and a lot of unused assets that were eventually repurposed for Majora’s Mask.
Such a great game! Brings back some awesome memories.
I haven’t finished this game yet, there’s always something that stops me to do it, maybe it’s because there’s no enough time to play nowadays.
