This was my kind of thing in the late 1990s. Rooms full of dudes, totally wasting their time, half-drunk constantly, and then every so often someone rips an ok-good guitar solo or breaks into uncanny harmony. Nobody played this album because it was a little bit on the nose…I think people played DMB? Fugees? But this was the song about what was happening for real.
That was a hell of a performance!
A bunch of those guys are just session back-up singers – right?
