In case you’re wondering why Gordon Ramsay seems a bit hesitant about the use of THC in food, it’s because his brother has struggled a lot with drug addiction.
I’m sure Gordon’s fun at parties.
I love THC in all forms, but I have to agree with Gordon. What the chef was doing isn’t really adding to the food, it’s more about the experience. It may be possible to use in it a way that adds to the flavor in a positive way, but I’ve yet to experience that.

Washington and Colorado legalized recreational cannabis in 2012. California had medical cannabis since 96. And various states have decriminalized cannabis going back to the 70s. Strange thing to say “CA was the first state to decriminalize cannabis in 2018” at the top of the video. The writers must have been high!

Cannabis when ingested takes at least 45 minutes to an hour to take effect. Italian dude is 100% acting, he’s not high.
I feel sad for Gordon Ramsey. He’s so uptight, he can’t even get high on a pedestrian drug like cannabis. What he really needs is mushrooms. Betcha that would open up a few new recipes!
I don’t really buy that THC drops would really improve any food’s taste, however, I can see it as something that can gently improve the experience as Gordon mentioned, and for those who aren’t experienced users like I used to be, it can give you the munchies which undeniably improves the experience of eating food, and gives it a better taste. It would have to be done early in the dinner, like those restaurants that have 25 different little meals for you to experience, so that halfway or 3/4 through you feel the high and enjoy the hell out of the rest of the dishes.
It wouldn’t work with serious users though, because after a while you lose the effect of the munchies and you actually end up losing your appetite, most likely because big-time THC consumers love being high and eating food does tend to kill your high so your brain (at least for me and many others) tends to stop feeling hunger when you’re high.
My man Gino wouldn’t slow his roll till he started feeling it and by that point he was just taxiing, about 15-20 mins to reach cruising altitude of high af.
Infusing into food is dumb where it’s legally available. You can just take a tablet, then eat normal food.
They should have left out the shot of Gino disrespecting someone’s motorcycle. They probably thought it was funny, but I thought it was a dick move
