I *still* regret buying Shadowrun for the 360 (it was used and on sale, and I assumed [without reading the box at all] that it had some kind of single player campaign in the Shadowrun universe).

    Always read the description first.

Every time I see a small studio making an online only game I fully expect the game to be dead in a matter of weeks.

I very seldom buy games with no single player, but at least co-op isn’t riddled with people literally cheating.

“Hey now! We have a tutorial mode that’s packed with action! That’s still considered single player!”

A Naruto game with create a character finally came out and it was only for online fights. That game was disappointing.

Yup. As much as I love playing with others that I know. I hate being forced to play coop games with strangers.

I really just don’t like playing with other people. schedules don’t line up with my friends, my dad doesn’t play games anymore, and I hate playing with strangers and kids so back to the SP life

I was almost stoked for the new Evil Dead game, then find out it’s multiplayer. I just can’t seem to get into any online multiplayer games.

What’s with the hate of multiplayer games lately, people have been treating them like they’re the boogeyman. I don’t understand where did all this hate for them come from.

Oof. Coop is a bare minimum requirement for me to purchase a game. The more players the merrier for me. 🙂

I hate online gaming, it’s incredibly boring. I want a story not all of the 9 year Olds from 2008 still yelling that they fucked our mom.

This single player circlejerk is so annoying. Single player games are fun and so are multiplayer games. If you don’t like one then don’t play it, simple. There’s no need to complain that people like something that you don’t. Plus, it’s not like they stopped making single player games, there’s a huge selection to choose from and there’s new single player games coming out all the time.

This is the new video game boomer take.
